The documentary "Ice Bound in Antarctica" tells the day to day life of a wintercrew who lives an entire year in a polar research station in Antarctica.

This research station, the French Dumont d'Urville base, is the place where a lot of short and long term scientific missions have taken place for more than 60 years.

Its exceptionnal site, located in Adelie land, is in particular the place where the famous movie "The March of the Penguin" has been shot.
